I agree! I love Cars especially the first movie and although the second movie was not as good, would still love to see it.

I took two 9 yr olds and a 6 yr old to see it. We spoke after the movie about how environmental issues are political and how that played out in the movie. A more subtle piece that I barely caught and the kids didn't catch at all, but we talked about later, is the oil baron changed his company to be one that cleaned up oil spills. Great lesson on how you can make bad choices for a long time and still make a turn around. (I don't think drilling for oil is bad, I drive a gas guzzling mini van and wouldn't trade it for the world). A lot of teachable moments in this movie. Some cussing, and a big long kiss were all that struck me as PG.

Everyone loves the Muppets, I mean who wouldn't? And it's great too that not only the once fanatics of the Muppets would get to enjoy their crazy yet adorable acts, kids of these days too!

I was moved by the tragic past of Po but overall, it was still a fun movie. I agree, it is a must see but kids must be guided too especially since it also speaks of the revenge of the peacock.

"It's a little over-the-top with the sheer volume of chaos that Ramona causes..."

This made me laugh... During the whole movie my wife and I kept chuckling about how closely the chaos that follows Ramona, and her imagination, resembles that of our middle child, Rangeley.

Even our 8 year old daughter, Haley, said how much Ramona reminded her of Rangeley. :)

Soooo... from one parent's perspective... Ramona's imagination, creativity, and energy weren't over the top at all. Just really close to home. :)

We all enjoyed the movie as well, and are trying desperately to get our kids hooked on Beverly Clearly.
